Around Charlotte, specialist offices tend to cluster near hospitals and in medical office parks, and wait times for a consultation run from a few days for an endodontist to several weeks for a busy orthodontist. Most consultations across North Carolina are free or low-cost and come with a written treatment plan and price; ask whether the fee is in-network for your plan, what sedation options exist and how many visits the treatment takes. A second opinion is normal for implants, jaw surgery and full-mouth reconstruction, and reputable specialists expect it.

The procedure was fast, efficient, and almost painless. The entire practice was well kept and the staff members were 5 star. I’ve never been to such a nice establishment where they laugh and joke with you throughout the process. They were spot on with my paperwork, timing, and ability to get me in/out in less than an hour. I was very impressed by the surgeon and his entire team. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an oral surgeon in the Charlotte area. 5 star with nothing and I mean nothing to complain about. - DL

Can NOT say enough good things about this place and entire staff! From checking in to actual procedure I was made to feel comfortable and at ease. Keiha was my nurse and she was such a blessing! I was beyond nervous, anxious and scared but she took the time to just befriend me, calm my fears, hold my hand, speaker encouragement and such a support to ensure I was ok. The doctor was also very informative, took his time to go over X-rays and all questions/concerns. Did not rush anything, was super kind and was very skilled at the extraction! Overall would give them 100 - highly recommend to anyone who has had bad experiences elsewhere or just a fear of oral procedure all together.

THE WORST! First, the staff is lovely! But I would not trust Dr. Cannon. Let’s start with the dental plan, the plan was to come and get FIVE extractions, mostly wisdom but there was a particular tooth that needed extra attention. Said tooth had a HOLE in it and it was mobile. When I came to my appointment on Jan 22, I informed Dr. Cannon to the T, what the issue was and what was said from my dentist. Dr. Cannon proceeded to exam me and PUSH the tooth with the hole in it back in its proper place. His exact words were & I quote: β€œyea I see what you’re saying, but I want to see what the dentist said cause this tooth is viable for a root canal.” Did I ask?? Goes under sedation, he extracts TWO TEETH! Why the heck would I go under sedation for two teeth?? Be real. Here we are, 5 months later and I have to PAY, cold hard earned cash for an extraction. My left nasal cavity was FILLED with infection, there was infection stuck to the tooth and the hole had reached my jaw bone. DO NOT GO TO THIS ORAL SURGEON! ANY LAST MINUTE EXTRACTIONS β€” GO SEE TRACIE OR TRACEE & DR. GRIFFIN AT CHARLOTTE EMERGENCY DENTAL! WORTH THE MONEY & IT ONLY TOOK 10 MINUTES!!!!

Deja was the best part of it making the appointment for me having the opening for me to come in with the emergency situation. I had she started off. I’m grateful for her. She was the first one I spoke to meeting. Her in person was the best but then meant Ms Keihe made me feel like I was 5 star restaurant, I had everything I wanted to feel comfortable. Service was great ahw took great care of me. To mention the surgeon, Dr. Canon was amazing as well. Thank you Oh, my surgical needs will fall back into this office. Do you guys are the best?
